Whether you're escaping the city, returning from a South African safari, or exploring the olive groves in the middle of the wine lands, Waterfall Valley is your countryside sanctuary.
Word from Maika (owner and manager): For the last three years, since lovingly transitioning the vibrant Cascade Country Manor into the peaceful retreat at Waterfall Valley, I have been chasing a specific vision.
My first priority was making our rooms comfortable and inviting—giving each space a warm, luxurious makeover and intentionally removing televisions to offer you true, uninterrupted peace. (with some wifi)
But much like the time when we hosted weddings, I realised once again we completely depended on perfect weather. Whether it is for a high-energy Zumba class, a quiet meditation session, or a deep dive yogo retreat... it had to be a sunny day.
Our beautiful living room isn't private enough. Our cozy library and conference room aren't big enough. And the outdoor courtyard simply wasn't sheltered enough.
I dreamed of a space that would be intimate enough for a one-on-one breakthrough session, yet spacious enough for a full retreat group. A cool studio in the scorching summer, and a cozy, sun-drenched shelter on a cold winter day.
